o Executive Branch actions, to include inter- <br /> departmental or outside support (possible federal <br /> declaration) . This could also include recommending <br /> the appointment of a departmental staff position(s) <br /> or field representative(s) or other special drought <br /> related personnel . <br /> o State Legislative actions, include requests for funding. <br /> o Program implementation, monitoring, and approval . <br /> - Ensure inter-agency coordination (e.g . media releases) . <br /> - Determine when drought intensity has receded to the point <br /> that there is no longer a need for IACG to function. <br /> IMPLEMENTATION <br /> The Inter-Agency Coordinating Group, when activated, will meet on the <br /> call of the chairperson. A written report will be submitted to the <br /> Governor indicating the significant items brought before this Group, <br /> any actions taken by the Group and any matters being recommended for <br /> Executive Action. The IACG may request special reports from Impact <br /> Task Forces as well as from response agency program managers and from <br /> other sources of assessment/response expertise. <br />
