<br />Based on our analysis, the implementation of the selected measures/programs within <br />the WCP will result in the following reductions in water usage over the ten-year planning <br />horizon: <br /> <br />. Residential: 4.70/0 or 124 ac-ft. <br />. Commercial: 13.40/0 or 37 ac-ft. <br />. Parks: 12.1 % or 43 ac-ft. <br />. Open Space: 19.00/0 or 76 ac-ft. <br /> <br />The estimated cost for water acquisition, considering plant investment fees, is $92.72 <br />per 1000 gallons. By 2015, the water savings is anticipated to be 280 ac-ft from the <br />current projected demands. The cost to acquire this water is approximately $8.5 million. <br /> <br />The anticipated revenue effects for water conservation, from cost of implementation and <br />loss of revenue, are $1,020,230. This comparison clearly demonstrates the value of <br />water conservation to Firestone. Implementation of the selected measures and <br />programs will save the Town a substantial amount of money in the long run. <br /> <br />Implementation Plan <br /> <br />The Town will implement the selected measures and programs in a phased approach. <br />Phase 1 measures/programs will be implemented within the first year. Phase 2 <br />measures/programs will be implemented within the first three years, in conjunction with <br />the already implemented Phase 1 measures/programs.
