<br />WATER USE AUDIT <br />STATE CAPITOL COMPLEX <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION <br />The State Capitol Complex is a group of buildings that house <br />support activities to Colorado State Government. This water <br />use audit investigates water use at three buildings that are <br />supplied through a single meter. Thjs report will discuss <br />the ways water is used at the State nower Plant, the <br />Legislative Services Building, and the State Capitol Annex <br />- - - - - - - Bui.lding..- - -AJ.1- three_ or_ _these.. .'ouildings.. .az:e_ supplied.. wllh _ _ _ . <br />water through one meter. <br /> <br />Eddie Hernandez and Jim Reed of.Denv~r Water visited these <br />buildings on January 11, 1992 and J~ary 21, 1992 to obtain <br />information regarding water use at tbese facilities. Chris <br />Bridges from the Colorado Office of Water Conservation. <br />Richard Lebsock. Glen Close, and Lou'Drieling provided much <br />of the information about water use practices. <br /> <br />EXISTING WATER CONSUMPTION <br />The state Capitol Complex receives its water supply from <br />Denver Water. These three buildings'are supplied by a single <br />tap and meter which is read monthly. Water consumption data <br />for 1989, 1990 and 1991 is listed in. Table 1 and presented <br />graphically on Figure 1.
