<br />~"/ <br />," . <br />,... <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. -1-- -90 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2-76 AND ESTABLISHING WATERING <br />RESTRICTIONS WITHIN THE TOWN OF WIGGINS, COLORADO, AND ADOPTING <br />CERTAIN RULES AND REGULATIONS CONCERNING CROSS-CONNECTION AND <br />BACKFLOW CONTROL. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF WIGGINS, <br />COLORADO: <br /> <br />1. Ordinance No. 2-76, passed, approved and adopted on <br />September 1, 1976, is hereby amended to read in it"s entirety as set <br />forth herein. All other Ordinances and Resolutions or parts <br />thereof in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />2. To properly allocate, distribute and conserve the water <br />resources of the Town of Wiggins, Colorado, the following watering <br />restrictions applicable to all outside watering of lawns and <br />gardens are hereby established and enacted: <br /> <br />(a) Residences and businesses with even numbered street <br />addresses shall only use outside water on even numbered <br />days of each month as follows: <br /> <br />(1) If any form of manually operated sprinkler is <br />used employing a hose, watering shall only occur <br />between the hours of 6:00 A.M. and 10:00 P.M.; <br /> <br />(2) If any form of underground, automatically <br />timed sprinkler system is used, watering shall only <br />occur between the hours of 10:00 P.M. and 6:00 <br />A.M. ; <br /> <br />(3) "Even numbered days" shall be determined by <br />reference to the 10:00 P.M. time; <br /> <br />(4) Any residence or business equipped with any <br />form of underground, automatically timed sprinkler <br />system shall not be permitted to use any manually <br />operated (i.e. hose-connected) sprinklers for lawn <br />watering between the hours of 6:00 A.M. and 10:00 <br />P.M. <br /> <br />(b) Residences and businesses with odd numbered street <br />addresses shall only use outside water on odd numbered <br />days of each month as follows: <br /> <br />(1) If any form of manually operated sprinkler is <br />used employing a hose, watering shall only occur <br />between the hours of 6:00 A.M. and 10:00 P.M.; <br /> <br />-231.\ - <br />
