Dear Terry,

The following is in regard to the water conservation grant
for the Town of Wiggins, at this tille I will give a brief
update of the project.

The Town began installing the water meters in Hay of this
year. We decided to do this with. our own crew as we could
realize"a sign1iicant cost savings on labor this way. We
'hare completed all of the residential areas of Town as of
Dec. 1. The Town installed oV.er 11.5 meters to all
residences in the Town. We have beeri ~eading the meters.
throughout the summer, compil1ng the' results and are now,.
working on trying to set a metered rate for water to go into
effect the ist of Jan~ 1995.

I do not have any information at this time as far as any
results on any consumption savings that this project will
receive in the future. Therefore as per our phone
conversation' today I would l1ke~.l!re.9ll~st an. exte!l.sion of
our_~o.lltrac~ tOo June. 30, 199~; with a final reP<1rt to cOile in
May of 1995 with' water 'savings results for the first four
months of 19&5. Also I 11'111 be sending to you. in, early 1996
the complete water savings result for the .entire year of
1995. .
