<br />5.2 Low Water-Use Landscape and Efficient Irrigation <br /> <br />5.2.1 Current FCLWD Measures <br /> <br />The Fort Collins - Loveland Water District currently does not require the use of low <br />water use landscaping or water efficient irrigation. The FCLWD has been using the <br />newsletter format to promote efficient irrigation with water conservation tips. The <br />District also recommends the use of low flow heads in lawn sprinkler systems. <br /> <br />5.2.2 Plans for Future FCLWD Measures <br /> <br />The Fort Collins - Loveland Water District will continue to encourage the use of efficient <br />irrigation through upcoming newsletters and bill inserts promoting low water use <br />landscaping and efficient irrigation. The District may also consider implementing a . <br />mandatory odd/even watering plan. <br /> <br />5.3 Water-Efficient Industrial and Commercial Water-Using <br />Processes <br /> <br />5.3.1 Current FCLWD Measures <br /> <br />The Fort Collins - Loveland Water District serves municipal, urban and rural customers. All <br />commercial and industrial customers are metered. Water conservation is encouraged through <br />the rates and surcharges for excessive water use or demands.
