5.3.2 Plans for Future FCLWD Measures

The Fort Collins - Loveland Water District does not plan on restricting or limiting the
use of the District's water by the few commercial users that we have, including dairies
and feedlots. The FCLWD does not plan to require any specific process changes at
our customer's sites. The District intends to use future newsletters to promote efficient
water use at the dairies and feedlots served by the District.

5.4 Water Reuse Systems

5.4.1 Current FCLWD Measures

The Fort Collins - Loveland Water District currently does not promote or require the
reuse of water for potable or non-potable uses.

5.4.2 Plans for Future FCLWD Measures

The Fort Collins - Loveland Water District currently does not plan to promote or require
the reuse of potable or non-potable water within the District. The District may use
future newsletters to promote efficient water reuse at the dairies and feedlots served by
the District.

5.5 Distribution System Leak Repair

5.5.1 Current FCLWD Measures

The Fort Collins - Loveland Water District currently does the following:

. The District meters all water entering the distribution system as well as all water
leaving the system. FCLWD utilizes rotating disk, positive displacement meters
and an individual pressure regulator at each service connection to regulate
-----i3fessure and accurately measure the wateF-<lelivered to the customer. The
meters are read and billed each month.
. All known leaks in distribution lines are repaired immediately and any leaks
found on customer service lines are promptly reported to the tap holder. Water
lines which show a history of leaks or require frequent repair are targeted for
replacement as soon as funds allow.
. All new water lines are pressure tested after installation and are only accepted
by the District when they are able to meet established guidelines for allowable
water loss.

-15
