Review the current rate structure and if applicable, develop a new conservation <br />conscious rate structure to encourage wise water use among the highest water <br />users. <br /> <br />3. Research possibilities of allowing private individuals to place separate water meters <br />on irrigation portion of the water service. <br /> <br />December 1998 <br /> <br />1. Review and develop an incentive program for retrofit and compliance with water- <br />efficient fixtures by assisting public schools, public office buildings, office buildings <br />and other businesses with a long-tenn water conservation plan for their facilities. <br /> <br />2. Develop a program for installing central computerized irrigation controls connected <br />to a higher technology weather systems for parks, highway right-of-ways, and <br />irrigated open spaces in the Green Mountain service area. <br /> <br />3. Evaluate buildings who have cooling systems and prepare documentation on <br />efficient cooling systems and urge adoption. <br /> <br />4. Develop information for ways of improving xeriscape, which will have permanent <br />effective results and share that infoonation with district custorrers.
