<br />Irrigation Account Demands <br /> <br />Irrigation accounts deliver water only to large irrigation systems for multi-family <br />common spaces, city parks, medians, and commercial irrigated areas, Thornton supplied <br />water to 254 irrigation accounts in 1996, totaling 7% of the entire water demand, All <br />irrigation water is delivered seasonally, from April to October. <br /> <br />Other Accounts <br /> <br />The final category into which water deliveries are tabulated is termed the "other" <br />category, It includes water delivered to the City of Westminster, which in 1996 <br />accounted for 19"10 of all deliveries. Under the terms of a supply contract, Thornton <br />supplies Westminster with 3,025 acre-feet of treated water each year. A provision in the <br />lease allows for restricted deliveries to Westminster urationing is imposed on Thornton's <br />customers.
