S~ope of Suvices <br /> <br />The Project consists of the Contractor developing a water improvement project. This Project will include metering residential, <br />business and public facilities. This Project will help the Contractor to keep track of useage by these residents so as to be able <br />to get an idea as to how the transition of changing the billing from a flat rate to a metered rate win be imposed. The Project <br />goals include: increasing customer awareness of the effects of metering, extending the useful life of the Contractor's water system, <br />aod to collecting data for evaluation of future programs. <br /> <br />The Cootractor win install 100 meters. During the installation phase of the project there wilt be public meetings And various <br />jnformation made available to the public to keep them informed and updated throughout the project. The Contractor will (X'ovide <br />a written water conservation plan. <br /> <br />The Project will produce articles about the metering to local newspapers. <br /> <br />Following the water use assessments, the Contractor will monitor water consumption from the water meter readings to evaluate <br />and compare to past water useage of the community, <br /> <br />A Final Repon. shall be compiled upon completion of the Project. The Final Report shall include a summary of the Project, <br />discussion of the Project implementation, Project findings and water savings results. The Final Report will not only conclude the <br />Project but will serve as information to be shared with other Colorado communities. <br /> <br />2. Prolect 11me of Perl'onnance <br /> <br />The Project will commence on July 15, 1993 or upon full and proper execution of this Contract. <br /> <br />The Project wi\1 be completed on or- before December 30, 1994. However, the Project time of perfonnance may be extended <br />subjea. to the mutual agreement of the State and Contractor. A written request for extension shall be submitted to the Slale by <br />the Contractor at least thirty (30) days prior to December 30, 1994, and shall i.nclude a full justification for the e~tensi.on request. <br /> <br />Page 1 of 2 Pages <br />
