DATABASE ANALYSIS
The software used for the data analysis is Lotus 123 3.1. This software provides
the user with a three dimensional feature which allows separation of records by
individual customer account. This feature also enables the user to enter the data
for each customer on a separate worksheet.

The database has been designed to analyze the mean monthly and mean daily
consumption. variance, standard deviation. sample variance, sample standard
based on the monthly billing cycle and actual meter readings of water. gas and
electricity. The worksheet shows data for water and energy use. Gas and electric
data is collected by Public service and the water data is collected by the Grand
Junction water utility. A table at the end of the spreadsheet analyzes the above
data and includes a spreadsheet that represents the mean of differences, standard
of differences, count, standard error of means and the t-test.
