the Grand Junction water utility;

3. to determine long term water savings potential from retrofit;

4. and to evaluate device acceptance levels from homeowners

Water and energy consumption data will be collected for a period of 18 months
ending in October 1992. This period will include one full winter water-use season
which is important to isolate interior water use from exterior use and weather
variables. The final analysis will be conducted after 18 months of data collection.

SURVEY
A survey was mailed to participating homeowners in September 1991. Survey
questions helped determine how well the devices were working and homeowner
perceptions about the devices. Below are select survey results.
