Be sure to include <br />estimated costs for the following: <br /> <br />The emphasis of this project is for community involvement. Through promotion, it is the <br />intention to have most services and materials donated, or at a reduced costs. Costs would <br />also vary based on the level of water conservation to which a household already subscribes, <br />The goal is to recruit residences that do not currently use a great number of water <br />conservation measures, or have measures upon which improvement can be made, <br /> <br />Professional services: The professional services involved will be: <br /> <br />Performing of a water audit on each household prior to the "make-over". This <br />can be accomplished by Town personnel at no additional cost, with consulting <br />assistance provided through the American Water Works Association, <br /> <br />Landscape design and consulting services are being provided on a gratis basis <br />from GardenCare and Associates, Inc. <br /> <br />Program administration would be accomplished by the Environmental <br />Resource Technician. Monitoring and data analysis would be <br />accomplished by the Utility Department personnel, the Environmental <br />Resource Technician and clerical support. The Environmental Resource <br />Division of the Town of Castle Rock at this time consists of one employee, <br />This division is in charge of the Water Conservation Program including the <br />Water Restriction Program, Xeriscape Program, and Public Education <br />Program, the Water Augmentation Program and water rights accounting, the <br />Cross-Connection Control Program, and water quality control monitoring, <br />One Utility Clerk position will be available for limited assistance, A part time <br />employee designated for the initial stages of this program may be required. <br />Considering approximately $10.00 per hour, at 20 hours per week for the first <br />six montbs of the program would constitute funds equalling $4,800, <br /> <br />Total Services: <br /> <br />$4,800 <br /> <br />Publicizing Program: <br /> <br />Ouarterly Newsletters <br />Postage: Bulk Rate .132jpiece, 4,000 pieces = $530 per mailing <br />4 mailings = $2,120 <br />Printing: $500-$700 (depending on photos) per newsletter <br />
