Establish contact with appropriate federal and State agencies <br /> to solicit input and assistance. Special emphasis will be <br /> given to lands administered by the U. S. Forest Service and <br /> Bureau of Land Management. Individual reservoir and ditch <br /> companies will also be contacted for advice and assistance. <br /> D. Evaluate impact on Division held water rights; reservoirs, streams, <br /> hatcheries, etc. Consider the potential impact on wildlife of <br /> required water releases from reservoirs to meet public and domestic <br /> needs. (See Appendix I and 2) . <br /> E. Synthesize assessment data and make information available to the <br /> Review and Reporting Task Force and to the lead agencies. Report <br /> economic loss information to the Economic Impacts Task Force. <br /> OPERATIONAL PROCEDURES <br /> Assessments <br /> The main resource of the Assessment system will be the Division of <br /> Wildlife' s field organization structure supplement by information <br /> provided by other Task Force Agencies. Program Chief, for fish, <br /> game and non game will submit separate assessment reports based <br /> on coordination with Division of Wildlife Regions. Their reports <br /> will be summarized by the Project Coordinator within the Division <br /> and provided to the Task Force for its review. <br /> Reports <br /> Task Force will submit monthly assessment reports to the Review <br /> and Reporting Task Force and lead response agencies as well as <br /> providing weekly activity reports covering significant Task Force <br /> activities for inclusion in the Drought Project Situation Report. <br /> Special reports will be provided as requested by the Review and <br /> Reporting Task Force. <br /> Activation/Deactivation <br /> Task Force will be activated and deactivated in accordance with the <br /> "Drought Severity Indicators and sequence of actions." Upon termina- <br /> tion of the Task Force a final report will be submitted. <br /> Public Information <br /> Task Force is responsible for coordinating public information releases <br /> of Task Force Agencies regarding Task Force assessment of drought con- <br /> ditions as well as ensuring coordination with other Drought Impact <br /> Task Forces. <br />
