This progress report summarizes the activities that have
been completed, obstacles that have been encountered during project implementation, and those
activities that will be conducted to complete the project. We will also discuss any changes to the project
schedule and budget associated with completing the project.
Work Completed
The City is more than 75% complete with the project as designed. As you may recall, the project was
designed to integrate four different tasks: Community Outreach, Audits, Retrofits and Reporting. The
following components of these tasks have been completed since the 50% complete report provided to
the Office in June of 2010:
• Community Outreach —The project communications have been continued since the 50%
complete report; however, the majority of the work on this task was completed prior to the 50%
complete report was prepared.
• Audits — Since the 50% complete report, we have conducted audits of four HOA irrigation
programs. In all, we have completed 24 audits during the project.
• Retrofits — We have completed the installation of those fixtures listed in the table presented on
the next page prior to the 50% complete report. We have been working to repair two broken
toilets installed at the Senior Center over the past 6 months. This problem, related to a
defective toilets provided by the supplier, was finally fixed in January.
