This progress report summarizes the activities that have
been completed, obstacles that have been encountered during project implementation, and those
activities that will be conducted to complete the project. We will also discuss any changes to the project
schedule and budget associated with completing the project.
Work Completed
The City is approximately half way complete with the project as designed. As you may recall, the project
was designed to integrate four different tasks: Community Outreach, Audits, Retrofits and Reporting.
The following components of these tasks have been completed as of the writing of this report:
• Community Outreach —We have completed preparation and publishing of two different public
service announcements publicizing and promoting the project; developed public television
content to promote business and residential requests for audits; and designed, printed and
installed signage providing information regarding the benefits of the City's implementation
efforts supported by the CWCB (see attached).
• Audits— We have scheduled and conducted 20 commercial audits and 1 residential audit. We
are in the process of developing water models for each of these customers. We are also in the
process of completing 4 audits at homeowner associations (HOAs).
