a. <br />b. The road will be closed to vehicular traffic; <br />The natural-drainage patterns will be restored; <br />c. All culverts will be removed; <br />d. Roadbeds will be ripped, plowed and scarified; <br />e. Fill slopes will be rounded or reduced and shaped to conform the site to adjacent terrain <br /> and to meet natural-drainage restoration standards; <br />f. Cut slopes will be shaped to blend with the natural contours; <br />g. Terraces will be constructed as necessary to prevent excessive erosion and to provide <br /> long-term stability in cut-and-fill slopes; <br />h. The regraded area will be reclaimed in accordance with the approved reclamation plan; <br />i. Unless otherwise authorized by the Division, all road-surfacing materials will be removed, <br /> hauled or conveyed and disposed under Rule 4.11.4. <br />Retention. SCC proposes to leave sections of haul roads (approximately 6.8 mites) as permanent <br />postmining roads following reclamation and closure, These roads will increase the utilization of the <br />reclaimed and surrounding areas. <br />The proposed permanent roads (shown on Exhibit 20-2, Postmining Topography and Drainage) include: <br />• Haul Road G -beginning at County Road 53 and proceeding southeast to the beginning of the <br />Ridgeline access road (1.5 mites) <br />• Mine Entrance Haul Road -beginning at County Road 53 and proceeding generally southeast to <br />the beginning of Haul Road A (1.3 miles); it has been brought to SCC's attention by Routt <br />County Road and Bridge Oeparfinent personnel that this section of road is classified as <br />Routt County Road 53C <br />• Haul Road A -beginning at the south end of the Mine Entrance Haul Road and proceeding <br />generally to the southeast to the western end of Haul Road H (1.5 miles) <br />• Haul Road J -begins at the junction of Haul Road A and the Ridgeline Access Road and <br />proceeds southwest to join with the Haul Road K (1.5 miles) <br />• Haul Road K -continues southward from the terminus of Haul Road J (0.6 miles) <br />Haul Road L -begins in the SW/4 NE/4 Section 26 and proceeds south (0.4 miles) <br />Postmining landowners have indicated to SCC that they would like to retain these roads as <br />permanent postmining roads. Copies of the written requests from the landowners are presented in <br />Attachment 20.2, Landowner Requests for Permanent Features. <br />Access Road. At the Seneca II-W Mine, there is approximately 2.9 miles of access roads within the mine <br />area. These roads are shown on Exhibit 12-2, and include: <br />PR-05 29 Revised 01/06 <br />
