am&9
per 4,000 cubic yards. The SLF CQA gradation results met project specifications and are
presented in Appendix H.1 and summarized in Table 7.
AMEC performed two (2) CQA gradations of DCF. The testing frequency (approximately
one test per 5,404 cubic yards) exceeded the minimum specified testing frequency of one
test per 20,000 cubic yards. The DCF CQA gradations met project specifications, and the
results are presented in Appendix HA and summarized in Table 8.
AMEC performed four (4) CQA gradation of SSF. The testing frequency (approximately one
test per 20,995 cubic yards) exceeded the minimum specified testing frequency of one test
per 50,000 cubic yards. The SSF CQA gradation met project specifications, and the results
are presented in Appendix H.1 and summarized in Table 9.
4.1.2 Moisture Content
AMEC measured oven moisture contents of SF, PBM, SLF, DCF, and SSF as part of the
CQA program. Moisture content data are presented in Appendix H.1 and Tables 5 through
9.
4.1.3 Atterberg Limits
AMEC performed Atterberg limits testing of the fill materials. All fill materials, with the
exception of SLF, were non - plastic. The SF, PBM, SLF, DCF, and SSF samples tested met
project specifications for Atterberg limits. Atterberg limits test data are presented in
Appendix H.1.
AMEC performed two (2) CQA Atterberg limits tests of SF. The testing frequency
(approximately one test per 16,900 cubic yards) exceeded the minimum specified testing
frequency of one test per 50,000 cubic yards. The CQA Atterberg limits performed on SF
met project specifications. The SF CQA Atterberg limits results are summarized in Table 5.
AMEC Environment & Infrastructure, Inc.
2000 S Colorado Blvd 2 -1000
Denver, CO 80222
Tel 303 - 935 -6505
Fax 303 - 935 -6575 www.amec.com 16
