Vehicular gates will be installed <br />where the new fence crosses the proposed haul road. <br />The operator commits to clearly marking the permit boundary with stakes surveyed on site as <br />required by the DRMS. The site will use existing roads to haul finished product to its final <br />destination. It is planned that the material may be used to re- surface existing roads, make asphalt, <br />or provide base material for any projects within an economically viable distance from the site. <br />In addition to the listed above facilities, the following are ancillary to the mining and processing <br />activities: <br />• Parking for workers <br />• Equipment storage and maintenance <br />• Portable toilets <br />The 33 Road Drain Road will be improved to 22 feet wide and will be constructed of road base. <br />A ramp in the southeast portion of the pit will extend to the pit bottom at a grade of <br />approximately 10 %, as shown on Map C -2. <br />4. Topsoil and Overburden Handling <br />Initial topsoil stripping of 10.8 acres of Pit 1 will be used to construct the berm along D1/2 Road to <br />the western edge of the Macintosh residence. Overburden from the same 10.8 acres will be <br />stockpiled south of Pit 1 in the storage area as shown on Map C -2. Topsoil from Pit 2 will be used <br />to finish the D' /2 Road berm and to extend the berm to the western edge of the pit along 33 '/2 Road. <br />Overburden from Pit 2 will be used to reclaim the slopes of Pit 1. Overburden and topsoil from Pit 3 <br />will be used to reclaim Pit 2.
