Explosives Bunkers Two explosives bunkers located about one (1) mile from this area will be demolished and removed to this location for disposal. In addition, building foundations located about 0.2 miles toward the main gate from this area will also be demolished and removed to this location for disposal. Measurement and Payment There will be no measurement for payment. Payment for this task will be reflected in a lump sum bid under Item 2 on the Bid Schedule. This lump sum bid will cover all costs for structural demolition and removal of rubble and debris from each work area, described above, to the disposal areas (base of highwalls or other designated cut slopes). Payment shall be as this task is completed and approved by the PROJECT MANAGER. TASK 3 SILT FENCE Silt fences(sediment containment fences) will be installed as per manufacturers specifications at various locations to minimize the transportation of sediment from each construction area. Placement of silt fencing will occur at locations specified by the PROJECT MANAGER, generally immediately following excavation operations. The CONTRACTOR will supply the prefabricated silt fence with posts (Mirafi Prefabricated Silt Fence with Posts having a 3 foot width and 8.2 feet between posts, or equivalent). It is estimated that the following lengths of silt fence will be installed at each of the respective areas: Mine 1 Fan 100 feet Mine 1 Yard 300 feet Mine 1 200 feet Mine 2 100 feet Mine 2 Conveyor 200 feet Mine 2 Bathhouse Area 150 feet Mine 2 Fan 100 feet Coal Silo Area 200 feet Lower Bench Area 150 feet Measurement and Payment Silt fences erected will be measured to the nearest linear foot. Payment for this task will at the prices established in Item 3 of the Bid Schedule per lineal foot installed.
