(Figure J -1) The grassland / shrub land, <br />and woodland vegetative cover is predominate throughout the region. The ecology, <br />productivity and management of these lands has been prodigiously chronicled in the <br />literature of range management. <br />A more complete review of the vegetation associated with the mine site is included in <br />Exhibit U — EPP. <br />J.2 Pinion- Juniper Woodland <br />The pinion juniper woodland at the side consists of about 30% pinion pine and 70% Utah <br />juniper. Most stands are not more than 20 feet tall, although some individuals may reach <br />35 feet.
