STM OF COLORADO
MINED LAND RECLAMATION DIVISION of Coro
Department of Natural Resources
1313 Sherman St., Room 215 F4e o
o
Denver,CO 80203
303 866-3567 # 8
*/876*
FAX 303 832-8106
Roy Romer,
Governor
Fred R Banta,
Division Director
November 5, 1991
TO: JIM MCARDLE
FROM: PAUL KRABACHER 'y
RE: WESTERN STATES RECLAMATION (WS ) CLAIM/COAL BASIN
On narrating billing procedures to Dave Chenoweth/WSR regarding dozer hours on
October 2, 1991 an oversight was made with respect to the total hours
utilized. Dozer hours used between project startup and August 22, 1991 were
not included in the 125.8 hour total cited to him. After researching hours
performed through job log studying, a totaling of machine hours for the entire
project is attached. To summarize, a deficit of 15.5 hours exists not billed
or paid to WSR. At the dozer rate of $91.26/hr. , this totals $1,414.53. This
could be logically converted over to Item 3, Channel A construction because
approximately this amount of time was utilized in constructing channels for
directing and segregating runoff. The bid price for Channel A construction
was $4.16 per linear foot. The cost oversight could be billed as 340.03
addtional l.f. of Channel A construction @ $4.16 equalling $1,414.52.
