STATL OF COLORADO
MINED LAND RECLAMATION DIVISION of Coro
Department of Natural Resources
1313 Sherman St., Room 215 h ,a .o
Denver,CO 80203 `* j
303 866-3567 876
FAX 303 832-8106
Roy Romer,
Governor
Fred R Banta,
Division Director
November 8, 1991
TO: JIM Mc.
FROM: PAUI,+ KRAB-k- HER /
RE: COAL BASIN FTHMOVING HOUR DISPUTE
Dave Chenoweth, Western States Reclamation was telephoned yesterday, Thursday,
November 7, 1991, regarding the dispute related to earthmoving by his
subcontractor at the Coal Basin Project. I brought up the oversight on my
part of not including hours of approved dozer time performed between August 13
and August 22, 1991. As previously mentioned, a deficit of 15.5 hours exists
not billed or paid to WSR. At the dozer rate of $91.26/hr. (WSR's calculated
rate) , this totals $1,414.53. Chenoweth said that this should resolve the
matter with his subcontractor, Cat Construction, and that he is going to
suggest that this amount be accepted. If Cat Construction accepts the hours
and related dollars in question, a bill will be issued from WSR for 340.03
additional addtional l.f. of Channel A construction @ $4.16/l.f. equalling
$1,414.52. If Cat Construction still disputes the hours accepted by MLRD,
then a meeting will be scheduled as previously planned in the near future.
(Keep your eye out for the bill. )
