Most of the mine is inaccessible due to the fact that snow removal operations were not conducted above the twin adit rock tunnels. Pond 016 access was being maintained and the discharge was clear at approximtely 70 gpm. The pond embankment and water surfaces were all under cover of snow but no problems were noted. Pond 008 had been dredged recently in preparation for spring run-off. The discharge point was not accessible due to excessive snow accumulations. Pond 001 was discharging clear water at approximately 20 gpm. The pond embankments were covered with snow. The rest of the ponds were not inspected due to restricted access or excessive snow cover....
