Complete reclamation of the adit/rock tunnel area, initiate and complete <br /> reclamation of the preparation plan area, refuse areas, roads and conveyor <br /> faciliiies. Reclamation will entail facilities demolition, backfilling and grading, <br /> topsoiling and revegetation. Roads will be decommissioned such that the post- <br /> mine land use objectives will be served. The road surfaces and cut and fill <br /> slopes will be stabilized to minimize erosion, and a low maintenance drainage <br /> control system will be installed in place of the current high maintenance system. <br /> Adit/Rock Tunnel Area <br /> Two of the three warehouses have been removed. <br /> The lower raw coal storage area has been graded, with conveyor feeder hoppers <br /> removed. <br /> Further reclamation of the area requires sale and removal of the overland <br /> conveyor. This has a substantial value, and will be sold in place, prior to <br /> removal.2 <br /> The yard area at the adit/rock tunnel serves as an important staging area <br /> for the removal of facilities and structures at the-portalareas. Equipment <br /> used in�theseareas is unloaded-and-parked-in this yard', facilities and scrap <br /> removed from the portal areas is unloaded and stored here. <br /> Preparation Plan Area <br /> Substantial work has been done in dismantling the preparation plant. The <br /> area is also important as a staging area for reclamation activities in the rest <br /> of the property. <br /> Refuse Areas <br /> Final grading of the Sutey pile has been completed, and topsoiling has <br /> begun. <br /> All but one segment of the refuse conveyor extending from the preparation <br /> plant to the Sutey pile has been removed, having been sold "as is, where <br /> is." Most of the concrete bases for the conveyor supports have been - <br /> removed and placed against the opposite hill (behind the preparation plant) <br /> to be used as fill. <br /> 2 The contract between MCR and M.&E.,as equipment liquidator, provides for sale on an"as is,where . <br /> Is"basis, except as Contractor may deem appropriate..." <br /> Reclamation Activity- 1993 <br />
