The non-coal refuse disposal area (trash pile) has been covered and graded. <br /> The area adjacent the old refuse pile, which had been cleared previously for <br /> topsoil, has been re-covered with topsoil and seeded. <br /> Roads <br /> The roads are required for completion of reclamation at the portal areas, <br /> for access to maintain and monitor sediment control facilities, and <br /> eventually to remove sediment ponds.3 <br /> Conveyor Facilities <br /> The conveyor from the preparation plant to the Sutey refuse pile has been sold <br /> and removed, as approved in the contract for liquidation of assets. The <br /> remaining conveyors, which are believed to have a substantial value, have not <br /> yet been sold: <br /> Third Season <br /> May, 1994- October, 1994 <br /> Initiate and complete reclamation of the Carbondale Rail Loadout. <br /> Perform any necessary repairs, maintenance or follow-up work as <br /> required at the Coal Basin mine site. <br /> Coal Loadout <br /> The bin which provided coal storage at the load-out facility has been filled in, <br /> and the facility is being converted to a warehouse, which is consistent with the <br /> post-mining land use (i.e. commercial/industrial facility). <br /> Maintenance/Coal Basin <br /> MCR cleaned the warehouse ponds in March, despite adverse climatic _ <br /> conditions (i.e. heavy snow) because the ponds were approaching capacity. <br /> Clean-out of the Sutey ponds was done in October, as these ponds had received <br /> a sizable sediment load due to reclamation activity on the Sutey pile. <br /> 34.03.2(7) Reclamation ... after the road is no longer needed for operations, reclamation, or monitoring <br /> :[reclamation] <br /> Reclamation Activity- 1993 <br /> A <br />
