91-CA-090 <br /> COLLECTION AGREEMENT <br /> between <br /> NATIONAL ARBOR DAY FOUNDATION <br /> and <br /> The USDA Forest Service <br /> THIS COLLECTION AGREEMENT, is made and entered into by and between the National <br /> Arbor Day Foundation, hereinafter referred to as NADF, and the USDA Forest <br /> Service, hereinafter referred to as the Forest Service under the provisions of <br /> the Cooperative Funds Act Of June 30, 1914 (16 USC 498) . <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> WHEREAS, NADF a non-profit organization desires to participate in reforestation <br /> on National Forests; and <br /> WHEREAS, NADF will conduct promotional campaigns and desires to voluntarily <br /> donate a portion of the funds generated from these campaigns to the Forest <br /> Service for purchase and planting of seedlings to assist in reforestation; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Forest Service is responsible for reforestation on National <br /> Forests, which includes accepting donations to assist in reforestation; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Chief of the Ferest .Service, Washington Office, Washington, DC, is <br /> responsible for granting the right for use of the Forest Service name and <br /> insignia; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants of the parties, NADF <br /> and the USDA Forest Service agree as follows: <br /> A. THE NATIONAL ARBOR DAY FOUNDATION SHALL: - <br /> 1. Develop promotional campaigns which allow participants to support <br /> reforestation on National Forests. <br /> 2. Donate a portion of the proceeds from the promotional campaigns. The <br /> donations, to be made annually in August will be mailed to the appropriate <br /> Collection Officer as follows: <br /> Bridger-Teton National Forest <br /> Collection Officer, c/o Charles Jones <br /> F.S.
