5 (FORM 2 - Public filing)
drill pads: 86 pads, 10'x25'= 0A9ac.
G. Total project area to be disturbed 1.41 (acres) overland travel: 4,019'X10'= 0.92ac.
K. Describe the equipment to be used for the prospecting operations:
1, 96 "x144" rubber -track mounted Zinex U5 drill rig, with a 22' high stinger
2, 4WD passenger pick up truck
2, ATVs for personnel, tools, supplies, and sample transportation
L. Describe and locate anv structures to be constructed (i.e. stockt)iles. ponds. imnoundmentsl:
None
M. Describe anticipated relationship to surface water and groundwater (proximity to streams, penetration of ground
water aouifers):
The tailings are situated above and adjacent to two perennial steams. Based on visual
observations both in the field and of high resolution aerial photography, there doesn't appear to be
any seeps or springs along the toe of the tailings piles. The tailings are very sandy and likely do
not contain clay rich lenses that could act as impermeable barriers that could cause percolating
surface water to pool in the porous tailings. There is potential that shallow groundwater could be
encountered at the interface of the tailings and the native surface that is buried by the tailings.
IV. OPERATION AND RECLAMATION MEASURES:
The Board suggests that a photographic record of the pre - prospecting and post- prospecting conditions be kept by the
prospector. These photos should be taken from the same location and by the same method to clearly show the pre - prospecting
condition of the land and the reclamation efforts. Upon completion of reclamation and request for bond or surety release, the
Board may consider the photos as evidence of adequate reclamation, and thus, be able to act more quickly on the request for
release.
2. Provide a description of the native vegetation of the area to be disturbed, including tree, shrub, and grass communities of the
area. Color photographs, sufficient to adequately represent the ecology of the site and adequately labeled (including date,
orientation and location), may be used in lieu of a written description. Based on the quality of the photographs, the Division
may require additional detail.
No vegetation will be disturbed as a result of these activities. Both the drilling locations and
the overland travel routes are located on barren, unvegetated tailings and waste rock.
