4 (FORM 2 - Public filing)
11. Describe proposed surface excavation or other land disturbance, including roads, pits, trenches, waste piles, drill pads and
collar areas of underground workings, ponds, etc...
The drilling will be completed using a small 96 "x144" Zinex U5 drill rig, mounted on a rubber - tracked frame that can access each
drilling location by overland travel routes without any cut/fill. Personnel access will vary between passenger vehicles and ATVs
depending on the compaction of tailings along the overland travel routes. The drilling locations are all located on flat or very
nearly flat surfaces that will not require any cut/fill for drill pad development. The drilling locations are all on historic tailings and /or
waste rock that is barren and unvegetated. The drilling methods will vary depending on downhole conditions, but are currently
anticipated to range from auger, split spoon, and punch -core methods. The drilling depths are anticipated to range from 25 to 100
feet, with an average of 75 feet. Drilling is intended to penetrate the entire horizon of the historic tailings lying above the native
surface. All of the material brought to the surface by drilling will be collected and taken offsite as samples.
12. Proposed Disturbance (approximate) Describe the proposed drilling to be conducted, including anticipated number of holes,
diameter, depth, location, etc... Submit additional pages if necessary:
A. Drill Pads: Quantity 86.00 Average Width 10.00 (ft) Average Length 25.00 (ft)
B. Drill Holes: Quantity 86.00 Depth 75.00 (ft) Diameter 4.00 (in)
C. Mud Pits: Quantity 0.00 Average Width 0.00 (ft) Average Length 0.00 (ft)
Average Depth 0.00 (ft)
Described proposed underground work, including reopening of old workings, advancement of adits or shafts,
trenches, pits, cuts, rock dumps, or other types of disturbance, describe type, quantity and general dimensions:
None
F. Other Disturbances (please describe):
None
G. Indicate Chemicals and Fuels used or stored on site. List type, quantity and method to store.
It is possible that diesel fuel will be stored on -site using a 75 gallon slip -tank mounted in a
passenger pick up truck. All other regulated chemicals (e.g. oil, lubricants, grease, etc.)
will be stored within various service vehicles for operations, and will be brought on /offsite
each day.
overland drilling routes
F. New Road(s): Length 4,019.00 (ft) Width 10.00 (ft)
Significantly Upgraded Road(s) Length 0.00 (ft) Width 0.00 (ft)
Are culverts or other crossings proposed? If so, please describe:
None
