6 (FORM 2 - Public filing) <br />8. Describe the estimated topsoil depth and how topsoil will be salvaged, stockpiled and redistributed for the re- establishment of <br />vegetation. Specify approximate topsoil redistribution depth: <br />No topsoil exists in the areas to be prospected or traveled over <br />9. Describe how drill holes will be plugged (refer to Rule 5.4 of the Rules for required abandonment procedures): <br />Dry drill holes will be backfilled with surrounding tailings sands. All holes that encounter <br />water will be plugged from the bottom to the top of the borehole with a mixture of <br />grout/cement and sodium bentonite pellets. Near the drill collar, drill holes will be plugged <br />with cement from 5ft to 2ft (from the surface) and will be backfilled with topsoil from 2ft to <br />the surface. <br />10. Describe how portals, adits, shafts, ponds, excavations, or other disturbances will be reclaimed (refer to Rule 3 and Rule 5 for <br />specific reclamation performance standards). You may wish to contact the Division for closure specifications. <br />All sand -ruts, scours, or other disturbance at each drilling location will be raked /contoured <br />by hand (or bladed w/ an ATV) to match the pre - prospecting surface condition. A native <br />seed mix (see Items 7A and 713) will be spread on all disturbed surfaces. <br />11. Describe how roads will be reclaimed or returned to their pre - prospecting (or better) condition: <br />All sand -ruts, scours, or other disturbance along the overland travel routes will be <br />raked /contoured by hand (or bladed w/ an ATV) to match the pre - prospecting surface <br />condition. A native seed mix (see Items 7A and 7B) will be spread on all disturbed <br />surfaces. <br />
