Transplanting <br /> will be by hand as equipment can't be operated on this material. <br /> i <br /> The woody plants will be spaced at four feet within rows and <br /> the forbs will be spaced two feet apart. Spacing between rows will <br /> be approximately 8 feet. <br /> Fertilizer and peat (organic matter) will be mixed into the root <br /> zone of each transplant hole. Osmocote tablets will be used with <br /> each plant for slow release fertilization. Below is an analysis of <br /> the local peat which will be used with this planting. <br /> Analysis of Peat (Standard Metals) <br /> Dry Basis <br /> Nitrogen 1.1% <br /> Phosphate P205 .198% <br /> Potassium K Z 0 .130% <br /> Loss on Ignition 47.76% <br /> Ash 52.24% <br /> The exact amount of fertilizer and peat used will be recorded <br /> at planting. Estimated amount needed: <br /> Osmocote tablets 2500 No. <br /> Fertilizer N.P.K. & miner elem. 300 lbs. <br /> Peat 600 lbs. <br />
