August 14, 2012 C- 1981 - 010 /Trapper Mine JLE <br />Debris has collected inside the emergency spillway and will need to be removed. <br />Far East Buzzard Pond was dry and not discharging. The spillway was clear of debris and the flume was in pace <br />and appeared functional. A patch of Canada thistle was observed at the north end of this pond near the road. <br />Deal was holding water but was not discharging. The flume was clear of debris and appeared functional. The <br />embankment was stable and vegetated. The sediment marker was in place. <br />East Flume # 1 was dry and not discharging. The spillway appears clear and functional. The embankment was <br />stabilized with vegetation and the sediment marker was in place. <br />East Middle Flume was holding water but was not discharging. The Division was unable to locate the sediment <br />marker at this pond. The embankment was stable and the flume was in place. <br />Middle Flume # 1 was dry and not discharging. The sediment marker was in place. The embankment was stable <br />with vegetative cover. <br />Middle Flume 43 was holding water and not discharging. The embankment was stable and vegetated. The <br />Division was unable to locate the sediment marker. <br />Horse #I was holding water and not discharging. The spillway was stable and clear of debris. The Division was <br />unable to locate the sediment marker for this pond. A significant amount of algae has developed in this pond. <br />West Horse was holding water but was not discharging. The embankment and spillway were stable. The flume <br />was clear of debris and functional. <br />Oak 41 was holding water but was not discharging. The lower part of the drainage leading into the pond was <br />observed, this drainage had become incised and it appears Trapper has repaired this drainage and placed many <br />rock check dams within the drainage. <br />Oak 42 was holding water but was not discharging. The embankment was stable and the sediment marker was in <br />place. The flume was clear of debris and appeared functional. <br />West Flume # 1 was dry and not discharging. The sediment marker was in place. The embankment was stable and <br />vegetated. <br />Grouse # 1 was dry and not discharging. The embankment was stable and vegetated. The sediment marker was in <br />place and the spillway was clear of debris and functional. <br />Grouse 42 was dry and not discharging. The embankment was stable and the sediment marker was in place.
