Gold Prince Bulkhead
Page 2
SGC feels confident this connection is still valid but has
requested a bulkhead design for the maximum potential head (ie
ground surface) . This is 65 feet. Therefore, there is no longer
any need for the monitoring pipe that DMG requested and SGC agreed
to if the Sunnyside Mine connection could not be confirmed. In
addition, there will be a second bulkhead also designed for the
maximum potential head at that site. This is 14 feet. For these
reasons, SGC requests that DMG agree with this implementation of
the work plan with no monitoring pipe installations.
Please contact me if you have any questions or do not agree with
this method of work plan implementation that SGC believes is
necessary due to field conditions.
Sincerely,
Larry Perino
Reclamation Manager
cc: Sarah Johnson, CDPHE
