- Scarify the surface by using a trackhoe bucket or similar piece of equipment to <br /> gouge or pull the road surface and mulch toward the machine in a manner such <br /> that no less than twelve inches (12") of vertical relief is created. Measurement for payment <br /> will consist of physically measuring the length of each reclaimed access road. Payment for this <br /> task will be paid for at prices established in Item 5 of the Bid Schedule per linear foot reclaimed. <br /> Such payment shall be considered full compensation for all labor, materials, equipment and all <br /> other items necessary and incidental to the access road reclamation to the specifications, <br /> including ripping, placement of fill in any drainage ditches, placement of topsoil, installation of <br /> mulch and surface scarification as directgd and described in the specifications. Payment will be <br /> as this task is completed and approved by the PROJECT MANAGER. Payment for this task <br /> will be made only for the unit prices shown under Item 5 of the Bid Schedule. <br /> TASK 6 REVEGETATION <br /> All areas subject to revegetation shall be scarified as described in Tasks 3 and 5 (Earth Work and <br /> Access Road Reclamation, respectively) prior to beginning revegetation. Certified weed free <br /> straw mulch was applied to the soil during completion of Tasks 3 and 5. Additional light mulching <br /> is required during performance of Task 6, Revegetation. <br /> All areas disturbed during reclamation work and any other areas specified in these Special <br /> Conditions will be revegetated according to the Revegetation Specifications in the General Bid <br /> Y <br /> 13 �,— <br />
