CONTRACTORS are responsible for verifying all estimations prior to bid
submittal.
TASK 1 MOBILIZATION AND DEMOBILIZATION
This task includes those measures necessary and incidental to move equipment and supplies
onto the Project Area, to move equipment within the Project Area during prosecution of the
Project, and to complete any other requirements necessary to perform this Project. This item
also includes all labor, equipment, and costs associated with demobilization and clean-up of the
work site following completion of the Project. Please see Specification 1.0, Mobilization /
Demobilization of the General Bid Specifications, Colorado Inactive Mine Reclamation Program,
2004.
A copy of the General Bid Specifications, 2004, may be obtained from:
Division of Minerals and Geology
1313 Sherman Street Room 215
Denver, Colorado 80203
303-866-3567
Specifically included within Task 1 is the CONTRTACTORS responsibility to minimize
disturbance to previously reclaimed areas, including old roads and each mine bench. Portions
of Roads B, D, E, F and G (see attached Project Area map) will be traversed to access the work
sites. Each of these roads has been previously reclaimed. Access to the work areas via these
reclaimed roads will be restricted to a two wheel track that CONTRACTOR will establish at each
road. All traffic must be restricted to the two wheel track through the duration of the project.
Operation of motorized equipment, including all terrain vehicles, outside of the established track
is prohibited.
Contractor MUST comply with the following provisions during performance of this Project:
CONTRACTOR will exercise care to preserve the natural landscape and shall conduct all
operations in a manner which minimizes disturbance and prevents any unnecessary
destruction, scarring, or defacing of the natural surroundings in the vicinity of the work.
