All acess roads were in proper order All top soil piles were adequately <br /> bermed and marked. Some work remains to be done on the top soiled <br /> outslopes This includes drainage control and filling in of some thin areas <br /> with topsoil. Evidence of new top soil placement was evident <br /> The entire refuse pile area appears to be structurally sound. There was no <br /> pondiny of water anywhere on the pile. No evidence of sloughing or settling <br /> was observed <br /> Rock: Tunnel Waste Disposal Facility, <br /> At the time of inspection, the Rock Tunnel Waste Pile was being utilized <br /> only for the placement of cleanings from the lower ponds. A flat area was <br /> prepared on top of the pile in order to place these pond cleanings. No berms <br /> or incised pits were constructed to accent the pond C1Par,inrls This <br /> practice prevented any possible ponding of water on top of the pile. <br /> The trash pile located due east of the tunnel waste pile was receiving <br /> waste material from the mine. This material is periodically pushed with a <br /> do'?r anr, romnacted <br /> AH diversion ditches ana ponds were examined and found to De in good <br /> working order. The upper diversion ditch needs some maintenance.
