All acess roads were in proper order All top soil piles were adequately <br /> bermed and marked. Some work remains to be done on the top soiled <br /> outslopes This includes drainage control and filling in of some thin areas <br /> with topsoil. Evidence of new top soil placement was evident <br /> The entire refuse pile area appears to be structurally sound. There was no <br /> pondiny of water anywhere on the pile. No evidence of sloughing or settling <br /> was observed <br /> Rock: Tunnel Waste Disposal Facility, <br /> At the time of inspection, the Rock Tunnel Waste Pile was being utilized <br /> only for the placement of cleanings from the lower ponds. A flat area was <br /> prepared on top of the pile in order to place these pond cleanings. No berms <br /> or incised pits were constructed to accent the pond C1Par,inrls This <br /> practice prevented any possible ponding of water on top of the pile. <br /> The trash pile located due east of the tunnel waste pile was receiving <br /> waste material from the mine. This material is periodically pushed with a <br /> do'?r anr, romnacted <br /> AH diversion ditches ana ponds were examined and found to De in good <br /> working order. The upper diversion ditch needs some maintenance. The <br /> upper 016 pond is scheduled to be cleaned within the next two weeks. <br /> No evidence of structural instability was observed anywhere on the pile. <br /> i certify that the Coal Basin Sutey Coal Refuse and Pock Tunnel Waste <br /> Disposal facilities have been inspected to the best of my abilities and are <br /> in accordance with the designs approved by the Colorado Mined Land <br /> Reclamation Division. <br /> c ?.C' L <br /> 4233 <br /> `rs%ri y L <br /> James Scott Jones, P.E, No, 24233 <br />
