My answers correspond to the questions which you raised. <br /> 1. The Coal Program is funded 17%� by General Funds and 8316 by <br /> Federal Funds. General Fund contributions for the past six years <br /> are as follows: <br /> Year Amount <br /> 1993 $207, 549 <br /> 1992 $182 , 776 <br /> 1991 $173 , 998 <br /> 1990 $177, 106 <br /> 1989 $163 , 030 <br /> 1988 $168, 582 <br /> 2 . The Division of Minerals and Geology does not pay dues to <br /> either the Interstate Mining Compact Commission or the <br /> Western Interstate Energy Board. <br /> 3 . Our records indicate that 4 citizen complaints were filed in <br /> 1992, and 5 to date in 1993 . In 1992, the Division issued <br /> 1 Notice of Violation as a result of citizen complaints . In <br /> 1993, the Division has issued 3 Notices of Violation to date as a <br /> result of citizens complaints. <br /> 4. In 1992, the Division received 2 Ten Day Notices. Neither TDN <br /> resulted in Notices of Violation being issued. In 1993 , the <br /> Division has received 8 Ten Day Notices, which have resulted in <br /> 3 violations being issued to date. <br />
