Schedule per lineal foot installed. Such payment shall be considered full compensation for all <br />labor, materials, equipment and all other items necessary and incidental to the furnishing and <br />placement of the sediment containment fences as directed and described in the specifications. <br />Payment will be as this task is completed and approved by the PROJECT MANAGER. <br />Payment for this task will be made only for the unit price shown under Item 3 of the Bid <br />Schedule. <br />Task 4 Equipment Rental <br />Additional areas in and adjacent to the project area may require slope reduction, excavation or <br />erosion control work. A CAT D -7H or equivalent 215 FHP machine with operator, a CAT 416B <br />Backhoe loader or equivalent 74 fhp machine with operator, and a five (5) cubic yard on/off <br />highway dump truck with operator shall be furnished for additional work as needed. <br />The hours outlined in Task 4 of the Bid Schedule are NOT guaranteed. All work will be <br />accomplished according to Specification 19.0, Equipment Rental, attached. <br />Measurement and Payment <br />Measurement and payment will be made as per Specification 19.0, Equipment Rental, which is <br />attached. Payment will be made at the unit prices established in Item 4 of the Bid Schedule. The <br />hours outlined in Item 4 of the Bid Schedule are NOT guaranteed. <br />Task 5 Additional Demolition * <br />* Note: Task 5 was added in Amendment Number 1 (October 7, 1997), and is included here <br />for clarity. <br />The ripping required to be performed during Task 2, demolition, may reveal subsurface <br />foundations, footers and other reinforced concrete structures. These subsurface structures shall <br />be removed at the sole discretion of the PROJECT MANAGER. Any such structures <br />encountered shall be demolished to a depth of three feet (3') below ground surface as measured <br />from the ground surface immediately adjacent to the structure. All rubble produced as a result of <br />the demolition of these structures shall be removed to either the West or Central Work Area <br />disposal area. Disposal shall occur as described in Task 2, Demolition. <br />Measurement and Payment <br />Payment shall be made by the cubic yard to be demolished and disposed of. Cubic yardage shall <br />be determined by the PROJECT MANAGER and CONTRACTOR prior to initiating demolition. <br />Payment shall be made at the unit price bid in Item 5 of the Revised Bid Schedule.
