on April 16, 1998, this project is dependent on use of the topsoil stockpiled near the former <br />location of Coal Stockpile B. The Division will need written consent from Resources to allowing <br />for the use of this material. This consent is required in the near future if the project is to proceed <br />in 1998. <br />The preliminary Dutch Creek Diversion Project description is based on an examination of maps <br />provided by the Office of Surface Mining. This project is funded through a grant provided by the <br />Office of Surface Mining. The estimated cost to accomplish this project is $115,000. <br />Construction is scheduled to begin in mid - September, and be completed in late October, 1998. <br />The preliminary Rock Tunnel Vicinity Project Description is based upon our understanding of the <br />currently approved reclamation plan for the site. This project would be funded through <br />liquidation proceeds. The estimated cost to complete this project is $51,666. Construction is <br />scheduled for 1999. <br />The preliminary Facilities Area Project Description is based upon our understanding of the <br />currently approved reclamation plan for the site. This project would be funded through <br />liquidation proceeds. The estimated cost to complete this project is $218,490. Construction is <br />scheduled for 1999. <br />Reclamaiton of Road A will result in the same outcome as the road reclamation accomplished on <br />Roads E, F, G in 1996. The cost of $207,461 is the estimated cost to accomplish reclamation of <br />all remaining haul roads and the Huntsman Ridge Road. A cost of accomplishing reclamation on <br />Road A alone has not been provided. It is assumed that economies of scale will be realized if <br />Road A is reclaimed in conjunction with other road reclamation efforts in a sequential manner. <br />4 <br />
