r <br /> > Pesticide Posting requirements: <br /> • All turf, ornamental, and aquatic applications need to be posted with at least one sign notifying the public of the <br /> application. <br /> • The posting(s) need to be placed in easy-to-see area(s) so that adults or children can read them while passing on foot. <br /> • For applications to greenbelts, parks, athletic fields, playgrounds, or other similar properties the sign must be placed <br /> directly next to the treated area(s). Golf courses require the sign to be placed at the clubhouse and at the first and tenth <br /> tees. <br /> Pesticide Notification requirements: <br /> • All commercial, limited commercial and public applicators shall give prior notice to all persons listed on the Registry of <br /> Pesticide-Sensitive Persons for all turf and ornamental applications made to properties which directly abut their property. <br /> This notice needs to include the date and approximate time of any turf and ornamental application and be given no later <br /> than 24 hours before the application(s). If the person on the registry cannot be contacted, a written notice must be placed <br /> on their door at the time of the application. <br /> • At the time of Turf and Ornamental applications, commercial applicators are required to give written notice. This <br /> information must be given to the customer or person on site and include the date applied, and the precautionary <br /> information from the label. <br /> • At the time of Structural applications, commercial applicators are required to give written notice. This information must <br /> be given to the customer or person on site and include the date applied, and the precautionary information from the label. <br /> • Prior to Agricultural applications, commercial applicators are required to inform their customer of: the name of the <br /> pesticide, the site of application, any applicable re-entry intervals, any applicable grazing intervals, any applicable pre- <br /> harvest intervals, and the precautionary information from the label. This notice may be oral. <br /> • After Agricultural applications, commercial applicators are required to give written notice to their customer, which <br /> includes the name of the pesticide, the amount of each pesticide, the date applied, the site of application, any applicable re- <br /> entry intervals, any applicable grazing intervals, any applicable crop rotation intervals, and the precautionary information <br /> from the label. Portions of this written notice may be satisfied by giving the customer a copy of the label(s). <br /> ➢ Verifiable Technician Training Summaries: <br /> • We have included summaries sheets for your review. <br /> • This information can also be found in the "Rules and Regulations Pertaining to the Administration&enforcement of the <br /> Colorado Pesticide Applicators' Act" (Part S. - Subpart(A-F) Technician Training). <br /> • Verifiable Technician Training form. ALL VERIFIABLE TECIINICIAN TRAINING MUST BE NOTED ON TIGS <br /> FORM, SUBSTITUTION OF THIS FORM IS NOT ALLOWED. <br /> We have included a List of Division of Plant Industry/Pesticide Applicator Section staff/telephone numbers and E-mail addresses <br /> for your reference. <br /> The inspector in your area is Jerry Mc Donough/ qualified supervisor / certified operator license. <br /> Your assigned inspector will contact you and want to conduct a Routine Office inspection, a Field Inspection, or both types of <br /> inspections. Routine inspections will be conducted periodically. Major checkpoints of a routine office/field inspection are listed <br /> below.
