TOTAL 4 hrs <br /> DEFINITIONS: <br /> C/I : Classroom/Instructional <br /> OJT : On the Job Training <br /> Disc: Discretionary training as determined by the Qualified Supervisor <br /> TECHNICIANS: <br /> Applicator Technician: No experience - applies pesticides. <br /> Sales Technician: Sells pesticide applications - does not apply pesticides. <br /> Experienced Technician: A technician who has been trained and has one season of <br /> experience, including time in training, within the last three years. <br /> On going Technician: (Applicator/sales technician) A technician continuing to work fc, <br /> the same entity after their first season of experience. <br /> TRAINING TOPICS: <br /> Applicator Technician: <br /> C/I: Applicable State, Federal, and local laws and regulations, environmental precautions, use, <br /> equipment and calibration,pesticides and their families,pest management, applicator <br /> safety,pesticide label and labeling,host and pest identification and public safety. <br /> OJT: Environmental precautions, use, equipment and calibration, pesticides and their families, <br /> pest management, applicator safety, pesticide label and labeling,host and pest <br /> identification and public safety. 8 hours of the on the job training must be conducted <br /> by a licensed QS or a CO with 1 season of agricultural experience within the last 2 <br /> years. <br /> Continued On Reverse Side <br />
