Conclusions <br /> overall , the plans presented above do the best to : <br /> 1 ) reclaim as much of the highwall as possible using all reasonably <br /> available material , <br /> 2) provide for long term backfilled slope stability , <br /> 3) regrade, resoil and revegetate all areas to be compatible with <br /> the post-mining land use , <br /> 4) handle drainage in the safest , most practical way possible and <br /> minimize erosion . <br /> The highwall remnants should not be regarded as major impacts to <br /> the environment .
