SOILS <br /> See attached report by Dan Champion, Soltesco, Grand Junction, cover- <br /> ing the five-year site and the 47-year site. <br /> 2. VEGETATION <br /> Tom Colbert of Intermountain Soils has submitted a bid and it has <br /> been accepted. They will do the vegetation work in June or July at MLR's <br /> suggestion (see enclosed copy). <br /> 3. RECLAMATION <br /> A. ACCESS ROAD <br /> The access has been in existence since 1892; it is the only access <br /> to USFS lands in Coal Basin. It is used by the Cattle Association to <br /> take cattle in and out of the Federal grazing leases. For these <br /> reasons it will not be reclaimed. During operations the access road <br /> will be made available for the Cattle Association. <br /> B. FIVE YEAR DISPOSAL SITE <br /> As stated in the soil information report, the average soil cover <br /> is 20 inches.
