It is assumed that the various structures described here are similarly rebared. <br /> The demolished concrete, including rebar, will be transported to a disposal area located <br /> approximately one hundred and fifty feet (150') south of the building location. PROJECT <br /> MANAGER will mark the location of the disposal area in the field prior to demolition being <br /> initiated. The demolished concrete rubble will be buried to a minimum depth of four feet (4') <br /> during completion of Task 9, Earth Work. <br /> Measurement and Payment <br /> There will be no measurement for payment. Payment for this task will be reflected in a lump sum <br /> bid under Item 2 on the Bid Schedule. This lump sum bid will cover all costs for debris collection, <br /> disposal, building removal, and concrete demolition and disposal. Payment shall be as this task <br /> is completed and approved by the PROJECT MANAGER. Such payment shall be considered full <br /> compensation for all labor, materials, equipment and all other items necessary and incidental to <br /> the completion of Task 2, Demolition. <br /> TASK 3 POWER POLE REMOVAL <br /> Two sets of power poles area located within the Project Area (see Map 3, Project Area). Both <br /> sets of poles diverge from a single pole located immediately east of the Dutch Creek Diversion. <br /> The power poles, guy wires and lines which are in place north and west of the Dutch Creek <br /> diversion shall not be compromised in any way during performance of this CONTRACT. <br /> Disruption of power service to this line without the permission of Holy Cross Energy is the sole <br /> responsibility of the CONTRACTOR. OWNER bears no responsibility or liability for these power <br /> poles or the service which it provides. See Task 9, Earth Work. <br /> The set of kkkkk power poles which trend due west, (located north of Road A), along with the <br /> associated power lines, guy wires and any associated objects will be removed during <br /> performance of this Task. <br /> The power lines may be live. Therefore, CONTRACTOR must contact Holy Cross Energy in <br /> Glenwood Springs prior to beginning this Task. <br /> CONTRACTOR is encouraged to contact Holy Cross Energy immediately upon receipt of the <br /> Notice To Proceed in order to arrange for shutting off power to the subject line well in advance of <br /> planned construction in order that construction delays are not incurred. <br /> Power lines, guy wires and miscellaneous hardware are to be removed from the power poles, <br /> and stored in a central location until they are moved from the site by CONTRACTOR. The power <br /> poles shall be cut no less than eight inches (8") below ground surface level. The pole remnant <br /> remaining in the ground shall be covered by dirt until any depression created by removal of the <br /> pole is eliminated. <br /> CONTRACTOR may not submit for payment until all power poles, wire and miscellaneous <br /> equipment is removed from the Project Area. <br /> Measurement and Payment <br /> There will be no measurement for payment.
