Task 12: Post Construction Sediment Control <br /> Task 13: Equipment Rental <br /> TASK 1 . MOBILIZATION AND DEMOBILIZATION <br /> This Task shall comply with Specification 1.0, Mobilization / Demobilization, attached. <br /> Measurement and Payment <br /> There will be no measurement for payment. Payment for this task will be reflected in a lump sum <br /> bid under Item 1 on the Bid Schedule. This lump sum bid will cover all costs fort Mobilization and <br /> Demobilization. Payment shall be made as described in Specification 1.0, Mobilization/ <br /> Demobilization, attached. <br /> TASK 2 DEMOLITION <br /> The goal of this Task is to accomplish demolition and disposal of a building, including its <br /> concrete foundation, a small concrete drainage ditch and an adjacent retaining wall, steel debris, <br /> trash, tires and other miscellaneous materials encountered within the Project Area. <br /> A small amount of steel debris, other materials and tires are located near the main entry gate. <br /> These materials, as well as any other debris encountered within the Project Area will be collected <br /> and removed from the site. CONTRACTOR may either keep these materials, or shall dispose of <br /> them in a licensed disposal facility. <br /> A corrugated steel building exists near the western portion of the Project Area (Map 3, Project <br /> Area). This building will be demolished and removed from the site. CONTRACTOR may either <br /> keep these materials, or shall dispose of them in a licensed disposal facility. <br /> The building is situated upon a concrete pad. It is assumed that the pad is supported by <br /> perimeter footers and possibly other concrete supports near its center. This pad and all footers <br /> shall be demolished to a depth of no less than three feet (T) below ground level. <br /> Adjacent to the steel building is a concrete lined ditch and retaining wall. The ditch and wall <br /> extend east from the vicinity of the steel building to the Dutch Creek Diversion. Three (3) short <br /> concrete lateral ditches which feed into the main ditch will also be removed. These structures <br /> shall be removed and placed with the other concrete rubble in the designated disposal area. <br /> Concrete debris must not be allowed to enter into Coal Creek. No debris may remain in place on <br /> the slope above Coal Creek. <br /> A large culvert is in place under the Main Sutey access road near the confluence of Ditches 1 <br /> and 8, immediately south of the Sutey Refuse Pile. This culvert is anchored by a concrete <br /> structure at the outlet. Other concrete structures are also located near the outlet of this culvert at <br /> the margin of the adjacent pond. CONTRACTOR shall accomplish demolition and disposal of <br /> the concrete structures, including footers, if any, near and adjacent to the outlet of the culvert <br /> during completion of Task 2, Demolition. <br /> Concrete structures at the Coal Basin Mine have been observed to contain substantial amounts <br /> 9 <br />
