PROJECT WORK DESCRIPTION <br /> PROJECT OVERVIEW <br /> The purpose of this Project is to accomplish reclamation activities in the vicinity of the former <br /> Wash Plant location. Road reclamation, grading, topsoil application, drainage channel <br /> construction, culvert removal, and revegetation are all components of this Project. Additionally, <br /> miscellaneous reclamation tasks will be accomplished within the general vicinity of this area. <br /> NOTE that another Contractor will be performing reclamation operations at an adjoining location <br /> concurrently during performance of this Contract. The work areas overlap at the Sutey Topsoil <br /> Stockpile, and along the access road linking the Sutey Topsoil Stockpile with the Bear Creek <br /> Project Area. Each CONTRACTOR is expected to operate in a safe and courteous manner in <br /> order that neither CONTRACTOR is delayed or impeded in performance of their respective jobs. <br /> Each CONTRACTOR will be required to be responsible for accomplishing dust control activities <br /> within their respective work areas. Dust Control activities during topsoil hauling operations shall <br /> be the responsibility of the CONTRACTOR who is hauling the topsoil. The CONTRACTORS <br /> shall meet with each other and the PROJECT MANAGER to develop a schedule for hauling of <br /> topsoil, in order to minimize potential conflicts. <br /> NOTE that volumes, distances and areas stated in this document are ESTIMATIONS ONLY. <br /> CONTRACTORS are responsible for verifying all estimations prior to bid submittal. <br /> WORK TASKS <br /> The tasks included in this Project are as follows: <br /> Task 1: Mobilization and Demobilization <br /> Task 2: Demolition <br /> Task 3: Power Pole Removal <br /> Task 4: Road Grading <br /> Task 5: Culvert Removal <br /> Task 6: Rolled Dip Construction <br /> Task 7: Low Water Crossings <br /> Task 8: Surface Channels <br /> Task 9: Earth Work <br /> Task 10: Topsoil Application <br /> Task 11: Revegetation <br /> 8 <br />
