C)
RPM, Inc.
Regulatory Permits Management, Inc. 9050 Old Tom Morris Cir., Highlands Ranch CO 80129
Phone: 303 -854 -7499
Email: hlhumphries2,acomcast.nct
to Rule 5.6, that annual report must contain a map which shows the location of all areas
which were disturbed. The Division recommends supplying GPS coordinates of the
disturbed areas for ease of field location.
Response:
As pointed out in the DRMS site inspection, the approximate locations of the drill pads are
presently marked with survey ribbon. We commit to providing the locations of each drill hole
and its area of disturbance within 60 days once the exploration drilling is complete for each
phase of the exploration drilling program. We will provide either GPS coordinates for other
suitable method of drill pad and dill hole locations.
4. The Applicant has stated that the mine workings will be accessed through the 350 level
portal. Please describe the current closure which is present at the 350 level portal. In
addition, describe how the Applicant intends to safeguard this opening during and after
active prospecting operations.
Response:
Presently, the 350 Portal is secured by a locked steel gate approximately 15 feet into the portal
entrance. The entrance is timbered with an unlocked wood door.
If the 350 Portal is not upgraded, Gold Hill Minerals will continue to use the existing structure as
is. It will continue to be locked during our underground exploration operations when we are not
underground and once underground exploration operations are concluded.
If the 350 Portal is up- graded, it will be replaced with cement and steel entrance with a steel
locking gate at the face of the portal entrance.
5. Under No. 12, Section III, Page 4 of the Application Form, the Applicant has stated that
no new disturbance is planned and that almost all disturbances will occur on existing
access roads. In addition, the Applicant has stated that most of the surface disturbance
will occur on graded mine dumps. Please specify which drill pads will occur on existing
roads and on graded mine dumps, and which will occur on undisturbed land.
Response:
The plan is to place all surface exploration drill pads on existing roads, some of which are on
Gold Hill Minerals property, phase one. The remainders are on USFS property, phase two. The
reference to drill pads on undisturbed lands was included since at the time of NOI, Plan Of
2
