2 and 4. Where topsoil is to be removed in areas <br /> previously undisturbed , it will be pushed to the <br /> side and used for subsequent reclamation. Its' <br /> MINERAL EXTRACTED <br /> Gravel to be used as road surfacing will be <br /> extracted from waste rock dumps. These dumps will bey <br /> or have historically been, sampled for economic content <br /> of base and precious metals, and no economic quantities <br /> of these metals are present . The material 's only value <br /> at the present time is as stone. <br /> DESCRIPTION OF OPERATIONS <br /> A mobile two level screen will be employed to <br /> screen loose rock from waste dumps to produce a road <br /> base material . Probable screen sizes will be 2 inch <br /> and 3/4 inch ; that is, oversize material above 2 inch <br /> median diameter will be cast to the side as will the <br /> undersized fines below 3/4 inch median diameter . <br /> Feed to the screen plant will be via a loader which <br /> will also be used to haul away waste material and load <br /> the pay material into trucks for haulage to the Terry <br /> Tunnel . This will be a downhill haul of approximately <br /> -3- <br />
