Comment 1.
RESPONSE:
The Overburden Assessment section of Tab 6 (Pages 6-16 through 6-43WW)
was revised to incorporate the following information:
1) The discussion section and appropriate tables were revised to
reflect the proposed scraper/dozer mining method as opposed to
the previous dragline/dozer mining method.
2) The references to dragline mixing were deleted.
3) The mitigation techniques for suspect constituents were
reevaluated.
4) Duplication and overlap were reduced by integrating Addendum
6-1 into the former Overburden Assessment section contained in
Tab 6 of Permit C-008-81.
5) The pagination within Appendices 6-1 through 6-4 was updated.
6) All outdated information contained in Appendices 6-3 and 6-4
was deleted.
