(4f) Section V.B.3.e (pp. 123-125) and Appendix 7-10
of Tab 7 of this PR addresses the monitoring
activity on irrigation return flow. PCC will
also submit this information in future AHR's.
However, at this time, based on the data
presented as cited in response to item 4d above
and this response. PCC feels that annual , rather
than quarterly, reporting is adequate.
(4g) Section V.B and C (Tab 7) of this PR discusses
ground and surface water monitoring to date at
Nucla Mine. As stated in 4f above, PCC feels
that annual , rather than quarterly, reporting is
adequate.
(4h) Section V.B.1 and V.B.3.e, Tab 7 of this PR
discussed this seep and incorporates it into the
monitoring program.
(4i) Spring and seep monitoring is incorporated into
monitoring programs as shown in Section V.B.1,
Tab 7, of this PR.
(4j) An Annual Hydrology Report (AHR) will be
submitted to CMLRD by December 31, 1986,
covering all aspects of the hydrology monitoring
activity at Nucla Mine. Successive AHR's will
be submitted no later than 3 months after the
end of each water year (Section V.F, Tab 7 of
this PR). The format of the AHR's will be
similar to the format presented in Sections V.A,
B and C of Tab 7.
(4k) Appendix 7-1 of the TR, discussed redesign of
Pond 001. Appendix 7-1a of the PR incorporates
this redesign into the PR. These discussions
should clear up any confusion concerning the
status of Pond 001.
(5) With submittal of the TR and this PR, all maps
and text have been revised to reflect the
current and anticipated schedule of activities
at Nucla Mine. Tab 12, Operations of this PR
shows the most current plans for mining
sequence.
(6) As stated in the July 3, 1986 Response to
Mid-term Comments, all signs at Nucla Mine were
updated and in place by June 30, 1986. Where
